When you have a pang in your tooth, you assume that it is a cavity, but you cannot be sure until you visit your dentist. However, it can be an early stage of having decay and cavity in the teeth. Your doctor/dentist is the one who can repair the enamel and control tooth decay.

However, if you do have a hole and only, the decay has not damaged the roots yet, then you only need a filling to treat the cavity.
